Five Favorite Locations for Family Photos | Bergen County Photography
There are many good places to take family photos around here, in Bergen County and beyond. The comfort of your home is a good place to start with especially when very young kids are involved. The studio is also an awesome place to work because everything is already set up. But sometimes we want to shake things up and go on location. And there are many different locations we go to. Here are my favorite five:
Cooper’s Pond - A beautiful small park in Bergenfield with a pond, small walking path, picnic tables and benches to sit and enjoy the day. I love working over there because is close, and small, so it is and easy place with smaller kids.
Liberty State Park - Located in Jersey City, it is another beautiful place to photograph. With the Manhattan Skyline and the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island as backdrop. The Historic Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal is also situated at the park providing another amazing place for photographs.
New York Botanical Garden (Bronx) - Another amazing place with beautiful flowers and greenery including a beautiful conservatory and library.
Fort Lee historic Park - Located in Fort Lee, NJ, the park is the Site of George Washington's 1776 encampment opposite Fort Washington at the northern end of Manhattan, the reconstruction of the encampment. With views of George Washington and the Upper Manhattan skyline, the park is an amazing backdrop for family photos.
The Great Falls of the Passaic River in Patterson, NJ - One of the US largest waterfalls, the falls serve as a majestic backdrop for family photos.
