Your child’s bar/bat mitzvah is coming up and you have a lot of decisions to make, including the party venue. Here are four tips to make this decision process a little bit easier:
Decide what kind of party you would like to have. For example a Kiddush during Shabbos requires different considerations than a big party for family and friends.
Decide how big would you like your celebration to be? Kids and close family members or a large celebration with a lot of friends?
Decide what time of day would you like your party to be? A brunch during the week after services or a large celebration during the evening?
Think about your budget. Your budget will help dictate in which direction to go and you may have to adjust your expectations according to it
