You are having an event (Bar Mitzvah, Bat Mitzvah, Engagement Party, etc) and you need to find a good caterer. Here are five tips for hiring the right caterer for your event:
Evaluate how prompt the caterer is when responding inquiries. If they do not return phone calls and emails on a timely fashion before you hire them, then what kids of service will they provide after you give them the deposit?
Think about the type of event you are going to have and be specific about your needs and expectations regarding the menu.
Asks for references. Caterers should be able to provide a list of references. find out what other clients are saying about their work. You may also be able to observe an event which allows you to see first-hand what they can do.
Some caterers offer a tasting menu. This is a great way to can get a taste of what they of their food. Ask for a sampling of what the caterer has to offer.
