So you have your date and your venue, now you need to find a photographer. Here are four tips that will help with your search.
1. Book early. Many photographers get booked years in advance. If you have your heart set on a certain photographer, get in touch as soon as you have a date.
2. Look through the photographer’s portfolio and see if you like their style. If their style is light and airy and you prefer a more edgy look, chances are you will not be happy with the end result.
3. Ask friends and family who have done this before. Look around, talk to your friends many people have been on this road before and can happily give you tons of references.
4. Make sure the photographer has photographed Bar/bat-Mitzvahs before. You are paying top money to have someone create very special memories for you, you want to make sure they know what they are doing.
